How I (finally) succeeded to bring my first very own code to the App Store

After failing quite clearly a couple of weeks ago, I went back to the scratchboard (meaning the Treehouse course overview page) to give this another try.

So after making my way through a couple of courses over the past days, I’m happy to present the first app to you that I wrote entirely myself and which is now live in the App Store: PO Bingo – Random Product Owner Slogans.

Again, it’s fairly simple but I can’t deny a certain amount of proud that I experienced when I saw the “Processing for App Store” notification.
I probably won’t expand the app feature-wise in the near future but will add more phrases over time. Please feel free to suggest some on Twitter.

I don’t know if there’s a better way to start into the iOS 8/iPhone 6/iWatch presentation day then shipping an app, but at least there are worse ones.

Kudos for Treehouse again at this point. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

PS.: Make sure your sound is on when using the app.
